Obama's Wright Wing Conspiracy

Hu’s On First 3/23/2008 by Arthur Hu for Asian Week
510 words
Obama’s Wright Wing Conspiracy

America surely remembers “Four score and seven years ago” and “I have a dream”. But the only truly memorable line from Barack Obama’s debacle will be Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s “God Damn America!”. While black support for OJ outraged whites, Obama has united whites and Asians in approval that our next president will continue to worship at a church that deeply believes RICH WHITE PEOPLE HATE POOR BLACK PEOPLE. Oy veh.

The Obama depicted in the Boondocks comic strip did not wear the rage of an oppressed race. But it is only a mask as the real Obama was mentored into the same black liberation theology that drives the other little Al Sharpton and Louis Farakhans in that world. Wright tells us it’s not racist if you have a degree to preach this stuff. Theorist James Cone identified Jesus as black, and recast him to serve black liberation. Dwight Hopkins of the U of Chicago rationalizes that “Damn“ is from the original Hebrew. Methodists and Koreans have evidently been misled to believe that salvation centers around Christ, not oppression, and to love instead of harboring bitterness against Ameri-KKKa or your Asian grocer. At least Obama supporters are above denigrating their fellow Americans they have identified as the “ignorant racist rednecks, creationists, and neocon wackos” at McCain events.

Obama lacks integrity when he condemned Wright’s sermons only after a firestorm after attending a church founded on afro-centrism for 20 years. His fellow-traveling mother evidently had more faith in Marx than Jesus, sending away her son so she could pursue 3rd world development and a PhD thesis. Obama abandoned the faith of his name and two fathers who signed him up for school as Muslim, while claiming to never have been a muslim or prayed for real. He attacks high health costs while his wife got paid $275,000 by a hospital to do little more than community outreach.

Abraham Lincoln would never deliver a sorry speech that equates his grandmother’s innocent fears with inflammatory sermons. Martin Luther King Jr. never justified or defended race preferences. Obama scolded whites for blaming immigrants and welfare mothers. Yet Wright railed against the “rich white people” that Obama was not, even though Obama is as white as his is black, and made a million dollars on his last tax return.

Contrast Obama’s back-pedaling to the faith another man found in the prison that compared Ho Chi Minh to Christ. He wrote in his book “Faith of My Fathers”: “Glory belongs to the act of being constant to something greater than yourself, to a cause, to your principles. No misfortune, no injury, no humiliation can destroy it. This is the faith that my commanders affirmed, that my brothers-in-arms encouraged my allegiance to… It was my father and grandfather’s [both admirals] faith. A filthy, broken man, all I had left of my dignity was the faith of my fathers. It was enough”. Americans will look deeply into the faith of John McCain and Barack Obama, and I believe that Obama will fall short.

Business School: The New Asian Stereotype?

Hu’s on First for 3/21/2008
By Arthur Hu for www.asianweek.com

Business School: The New Stereotype?

We know there are a lot of Asians at engineering schools and medical schools. But check out these Business Week undergraduate business school numbers. Here’s the percent of Asians compared to whites at some leading schools: UC Berkeley 54/23 Sloan MIT 37/25 Carnegie Mellon 30/37. The Asians outnumber whites at Berkeley and MIT. Even Mormon Brigham Young has 8 percent Asians vs 78 for whites, more than MIT had in 1976. I have no idea as to WHY this is happening, if you do, let us know.

Indian Education

Watch out for those Indo-Americans. They are the only ethnic group I’ve tracked with proportionally more awards than Jewish or Chinese Americans. The January 2nd New York Times reported the latest education fad in Japan is into Indian style schools where kids learn to multiply in kindergarten. Yet they reported in the January 17 issue that although more Indian children are going to school than ever, 4 out of 10 fifth graders could not read at 2nd grade level and 7 out of 10 could not subtract. So remember that when your local educracy is rallying for “world class standards”

Those !@#$% Finns

The February 29th Wall Street Journal reveals Finland’s world-beating performance comes from the very “back to basics” approach spurned by spurned by “standards-based” education mania. Contrast Asians here to blond kids there who dye their hair black to be fashionable. They get just a half hour of homework for high schools, and use chalkboards. With chalk. They concentrate on students who are behind instead of offering quadruple honors. Instead of cram preschools, school doesn’t start until age 7. There’s no “high standards for all” when tests rank the top college-bound half from the others who will finish with vocational courses.

The Emporer’s New Textbooks

The Finns aren’t hobbled by my 6th grader’s “Connected Mathematics”. Math is now a “Blue Clues” game which asks “what do you think”, and then asks students to “create your own algorithm and make sure it covers all these examples.” I never had to create and write down a method because that used to be what the book was for. The new “reform” instruction method simply cuts instruction out of the book. Only the teacher’s manual and the letter to the parents hide away the forbidden secret that “one possible answer” is to convert to common denominators”. Every Physics book states Newton’s 3 laws, yet students can’t find the “Pi r squared” they’re supposed to learn anywhere in their books. People like Michael Paul Goldenberg of rationalmathed.blogspot.com and my teachers are offended that we think something is dreadfully wrong when researchers gone amok have produced an abomination where students have to figure out and write in all of the math they’ve deliberately left out of the textbook. I hate to sound like Obama’s Rev. Wright, but if most other Americans are stupid enough to buy into this, Asian parents should know better and raise a stink.

WASL on KUOW, CMP2 decimal math has NO METHODS FOR DECIMAL MATH

3/13/08 Education bits

- KUOW 94.9 FM is slated to talk about wasl at 9.

- Renton radio commercial on KUOW brags about wasl results.

- Looked at Connected math for decimal math with my 6th grade
teacher yesterday. She acknowledged that the book literally did
not contain any explanation for any method, but defended the book
as "not perfect", and said that it was designed by teachers, and
she had met the lead developer. Actually it was designed by college
researchers, not teachers. I'm disappointed that she and the other
team teacher chose to back up the decision of the designers to not
include any direct explanations or methods in the student book, rather
than just admit it's junk and also complain about it. They would not
allow me to take a picture of any of the pages of any of the books.

Even
the teacher book doesn't contain any complete explanation, except for
the paragraph which is given as a "possible answer" to the question,
write down your "own algorithm" for adding decimal numbers. At no point
in time is the teacher actually expected to give the students a complete
method. This is fully consistent with the other topics, though oddly
the parent letter does not mention lining up numbers for adding, but
it's mentioned briefly in the student and teacher book, but not as
part of a complete explanation. I'm also incorrect that common
denominators are not in the book. For some crazy reason, it is in the
book for DECIMAL DIVISION. So they will only include some standard
terminology if it's A NON STANDARD USE.

AIDS rates highlighted for every group EXCEPT ASIANS

Guess which major racial group is NOT in the news? (Asians of course)
Table 5a gives estimated rates for each race.

The rate for whites is 6.9, the rate for Asians is 4.3, slightly higher than half the white rate. Asians have the lowest rate of any groups, whites are 2nd lowest.

CDC only reports rates which are higher for whites. They never report rates that are lower than whites.

Barack Obama Family Picture with Indonesian step father Lolo Soetoro

Found this Lolo Soetoro picture, that's Barack Obama's stepfather and his mother in Indonesia. Remember Obama's never been a muslim but his mom married two of them and signed up for catholic school as a muslim and he went to the mosque every once in a while for community events, but he never prayed there.

A picture of Barack Obama (right) with his little-discussed Indonesian step-father, Lolo Soetoro, his sister Maya Soetoro, and his mother Ann Dunham.
Chicago Tribune has a great Obama family slide show at
pictures of both his dads and mom.

There is no section or web page evidently rebutting whether is is or is not the antichrist, which he has also been accused of being on the internet.

If you ask me, his official campaign statement appears to be misleading if not outright false.

OBAMA IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN A MUSLIM(Headline sounds like am not and have never been a member of the communist party doesn't it?)
Open Letter from Religious Leaders Supporting ObamaLos Angeles Times: The Rumors About Obama Are "False And Vile." The Los Angeles Times wrote in an editorial, "That the rumors are false and vile is self-evident...Presidential candidates of both parties have a duty to denounce not only the smear against Obama but the bigotry that underlies it." [Los Angeles Times, 12/3/07]
Obama Spokesman Robert Gibbs Issued A Statement Explaining That "Senator Obama Has Never Been A Muslim, Was Not Raised As A Muslim, And Is A Committed Christian." "Obama's campaign aides have emphasized his strong Christian beliefs and downplayed any Islamic connection. The Illinois senator was raised 'in a secular household in Indonesia by his stepfather and mother,’ his chief spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said in a statement in January after false reports began circulating that Obama had attended a radical madrasa, or Koranic school, as a child. 'To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago,’ Gibbs' Jan. 24 statement said." [Los Angeles Times, 3/16/07]
Obama "Beckoning" Felt At Trinity United Church Of Christ, "Submitted Myself To His Will, And Dedicated Myself To Discovering His Truth And Carrying Out His Works." Obama said, "So one Sunday, I put on one of the few clean jackets I had, and went over to Trinity United Church of Christ on 95th Street on the South Side of Chicago. And I heard Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright deliver a sermon called "The Audacity of Hope." And during the course of that sermon, he introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ. I learned that my sins could be redeemed. I learned that those things I was too weak to accomplish myself, He would accomplish with me if I placed my trust in Him. And in time, I came to see faith as more than just a comfort to the weary or a hedge against death, but rather as an active, palpable agent in the world and in my own life. It was because of these newfound understandings that I was finally able to walk down the aisle of Trinity one day and affirm my Christian faith. It came about as a choice, and not an epiphany. I didn't fall out in church, as folks sometimes do. The questions I had didn't magically disappear. The skeptical bent of my mind didn't suddenly vanish. But kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side, I felt I heard God's spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth and carrying out His works." [Speech, 6/23/07]
Barack Obama Is Not and Has Never Been a Muslim. Obama never prayed in a mosque. He has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ.
Obama's Step-Father Saw Religion "As Not Particularly Useful," But Followed "A Brand of Islam" That Made Room for Animist and Hindu Faiths. Obama wrote in the Audacity of Hope, "When my mother remarried, it was to an Indonesian with an equally skeptical bent, a man who saw religion as not particularly useful in the practical business of making one's way in the world, and who had grown up in a country that easily blended its Islamic faith with remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, and ancient animist traditions." Obama wrote in Dreams from My Father, "Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths." [Audacity of Hope, p 204; Dreams From My Father, p 37]
Obama Found Faith During Community Organizing Days. "It was at Trinity United Church of Christ here, in the late 1980s, that Senator Obama says he found religion. Raised in a secular household, with ancestral roots running from Islam to Baptist to atheist, Obama had grown up a skeptic. But Mr. Wright's blend of scripture and social action resonated with Obama, then a young community organizer in black neighborhoods ravaged by steel-mill closings." [Christian Science Monitor, 7/16/07]

September 14, 2007Obama the Apostate? by Anne Morse
Patrick Sookhdeo, whose writings Chuck discussed on Tuesday, makes an interesting point about why Barack Obama is so reluctant to acknowledge that he was born into a Muslim family, prayed at the local Mosque, attended Muslim schools as a child, participated in weekly religious classes to study the Koran, and was registered as a Muslim when he attended both Roman Catholic and public schools during his youth: The danger of violating Islamic apostasy laws.
Sookhdeo--himself a Muslim convert to Christianity--writes (type in "Obama" under "Keyword"):
In the last months, U.S. Senator and presidential hopeful Barak Obama has shunned public attention on his Muslim background, and repeatedly deflected questions about his family and childhood association with Islam....Meanwhile, reports about Obama's Muslim parentage and education have circulated in the news. ...Obama's spokespeople address the public's interest in more information about Obama's connection with Islam as if there was nothing to discuss, and no need of further exploration.
After his press office first claimed that "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim [and] was not raised a Muslim," and calling contentions that he had been "malicious and irresponsible," Obama's spokespeople changed their tune in response to Sookdheo's reporting. They now claim that "Obama has never been a practicing Muslim," although as a child he had spent time in the neighborhood's Islamic center.
The question of whether Obama converted from Islam to Christianity is a serious one because, as Sookhdeo writes,
As Senator Obama perhaps knows, because of Islam's Apostasy Law leaving the Islamic faith is not a light matter. Aside from the obvious political calculations about how having a Muslim background might negatively impact a candidate's likelihood for success in the United States, could a concern about apostasy be one reason for Obama's persistent downplaying of his Muslim background? If Obama confirmed publicly that he was born and raised a Muslim--even as a very nominal one--but left the Islamic religion of both of his fathers and chose Christianity, it would surely be unpopular with Muslims.
Even worse,
Sharia forbids an adult male Muslim from leaving the religion upon penalty of death. The four major Sunni schools of Islamic law expressly prohibit Muslim women and children from doing so as well....Both the Maliki and Hanbali schools prescribe death for a child who leaves Islam and does not return at the age of maturity.
"While Obama now lives in the freedom of the United States," Sookhdeo says, "he is at the same time under the judgement of the apostasy law, a disturbing mandate of an unreformed system of sharia now being agitated for and/or implemented around the globe." If Obama "believes this judgement upon him and others is repugnant, will he speak out for religious freedom, and say that the Apostasy Law has no place within Islam or the modern world and must be changed?"
Good question.
Interestingly, Obama shares his apostasy status with master terrorist and Grecian-formula enthusiast Osama bin Laden. Osama was declared an apostate by Spanish Islamic scholars.
