As of thursday, looks like Julia Lacey (57%) and Todd Banks (55%) have wrapped it up the school board elections. I placed 3rd after Lacey in the August primary, but looks like stirring up the pot worked in favor of both these people. Add these two guys to existing maverick Dawn McCravey, and we're looking for some big changes. Yay!

3 areas vote to join Kirkland; No clear winners in 3 of 4 Bellevue City Council races
Conrad Lee
Councilmember Conrad Lee had 53 percent of the vote in Tuesday's returns to Planning Commissioner Vicki Orrico's 46 percent. Lee touted himself as a fiscal conservative, but Orrico argued Lee was not as committed and said she would bring a fresh voice to the position.
Northshore School Board: Banks and Lacey lead
Incumbent School Board members Cathy Swanson and Sue Buske were trailing challengers Todd Banks and Julia Lacey by wide margins in races for two seats.
The contests revolved around recent district budget cuts. Lacey said the district has not been open to the community, and Banks thought the district could have worked harder to find alternatives to cutting popular programs
