Kirby,
Our recent Straw Poll illustrates how competitive our Caucuses on March 3rd will be. Of the votes cast Mitt Romney won with 27%, followed by 26% for Newt Gingrich and 18% for Ron Paul.
The competition between these three is clearly intense and it will be interesting to see whose people show up to caucus on March 3rd. The Iowa results were a little different with Rick Santorum taking 25% in Iowa but only 11% in our straw poll.
As you are well aware, our caucus is going to get national coverage since it falls just before Super Tuesday and is the 11th contest in the Republican Presidential Nominating process.
Turnout will be high and I think that will be the deciding factor for the winning candidate.
We will turn our state and country around in 2012, starting with the caucus on March 3. The caucus is the only opportunity for our activists to choose who will defeat Obama and replace his pro-government administration with a pro-growth and pro-freedom President that will get America working again.
Here are the straw poll results:

Newt Gingrich

Ron Paul

Michele Bachmann
