Fukushima Robot Reveals Massive Duct Explosion

Here are the complete videos from the simplyinfo channel of the robot tour of the suppression chamber (torus - donut basement). The robot starts by staring at the surface of the water which is just inches under the grate radiating 100 msv per hour, 1/10 the level of 1000 that will give radiation sickness in minutes. Oddly, the floor grate shows dents which could only be caused by small objects hitting the grate at high speed. Overhead, some large ducting shows obvious damage, perhaps from some sort of gas or hydrogen explosion.

As I pointed out in an earlier post, there doesn't need to be any obvious damage to explain leaks as the suppression torus and downcomer connecting tubs are NOT designed to be filled with water. I suspect that as the containment was filled with water, the pressure will certainly burst seams somewhere in the system eventually and fill the basement with water up to the downcomer level, which is exactly where the water will fall if the torus is not air or water-right.  The only way to fill the containment with water is to seal off all the downcomers, and fill in any other cracks in the concrete or containment door, which may not be possible since the big concrete / steel bulb was never designed to be flooded.

Video 1: Foot of stairs just above the water

High 100 msv radiation level, grates show serious impact dents

Video 2: jog to manhole 1

this shows the catwalk straddles the torus, it is not right on top. 60 msv is about half the level inches above the water. Remember that for a plane source, radiation does not increase with distance, so torus must have shielding effect.

HPCI -> RPV that's an emergency cooling pipe,

The lower beam is bent. Is this normal? Doesn't look like anything that would be on a blueprint like that. TEPCO says no sign of damage? We can see plenty. Idiots?

Video 3 - path blocked by fallen pipe cover

video 3, view below that blown-up duct. No damage? What the hell are they talking about? This blocks the path of the robot.

another shot
That black tape looks like insulation layer from section of narrow pipe that's where the pipe cover of the floor came from. Clearly a violent and suddent explosion there popped off the outer layer and exposed insulation
